The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to our Company, Electronic Specifier Ltd. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Log Files

We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including browser type, access times/open mail, URL requested, and referral URL. This information is not shared with third parties and is used only within this Company on a need-to-know basis. Any individually identifiable information related to this data will never be used in any way different to that stated above without your explicit permission.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any Agreement contained herein.

 

Waiver

Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this or any Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under this or any Agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.

Electronic Specifier Ltd reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. The Hustle Awards entry

+ You must be 18 and over to enter any of the categories.
+ Submission forms for The Hustle Awards will be open form 9.00am 13/11/2024 and will be accessible at www.thehustleawards.co.uk.
+ Submission forms will close at midnight 00:00 29/03/2025. Closing date for submission forms is subject to change, and may be extended at Startups Magazine’s discretion.

+ By submitting your details for submission you agree to the Startups Magazine’s privacy policy

+ Entries should be made through www.thehustleawards.co.uk.
+ Startups Magazine does not take responsibility for any technical problems encountered on submission and does not accept responsibility for loss of any entry or part of entry. If you have difficulty entering via the website you may email [email protected] with your entry before the submission deadline.
+ Submission forms may be amended up until the submission deadline at the discretion of Startups Magazine.
+ Entrants may submit an entry to multiple categories, so long as they are relevant.

+ The Reader’s Choice Award will be decided by online voting.

+ By submitting your entry you are agreeing that Startups Magazine may use any submitted details in promotion around The Hustle Awards or for Startups Magazine.
+ Startups Magazine reserve the right to extend the closing deadline, amend categories or pull award categories should entries received not reach the required standard.

+ It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the prize promotion and acceptance of the prize. Startups Magazine cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

+ Up to 15 shortlisted entries will be determined by Startups Magazine.
+ Winners will be chosen by judges considered experts in their category but final decisions will be determined by Startups Magazine.
+ Startups Magazine’s decision regarding shortlisted entries and winners is final and binding. The judges’ and Startups Magazine’s decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into or feedback given regarding the selection of shortlisted nominations. Entry implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
+ Startups Magazine reserves the right to verify winners and ask for proof of identity, age and address and to withdraw prize entitlement where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions.
+ The name and country of the winners can be obtained by sending an email 28 days after the prize promotion closing date, to [email protected].

+ There is no cash or alternative prizes, in whole or part. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be resold.
+ Startups Magazine reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should circumstances outside its control make this necessary.
+ Entry into the The Hustle Awards is at the entrant’s risk. To the extent permitted by law, neither Startups Magazine nor prize suppliers accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) suffered by entrants or any third parties arising out of or in connection with the The Hustle Awards and/or accepting a prize.

+ Submissions to each category will receive relevant marketing information from category sponsors. You can unsubscribe from our partners at any time. By submitting your details for submission you agree to the Startups Magazine’s privacy policy.
+ Where a prize is provided by a sponsor, Startups Magazine accepts no responsibility for inaccuracy of any prize description, and the sponsor is responsible for prize fulfilment.

+ Shortlisted entries will be announced on or before 24th June 2025. Startups Magazine reserves the right to extend this date dependant on changing circumstances.

+ All entrants will be notified about the shortlist.
+ Winners & runner ups will be announced at The Hustle Awards event on 10th July 2025. Startups Magazine reserves the right to extend this date dependant on changing circumstances.
+ If for any reason, Startups Magazine is not capable of running The Hustle Awards, Startups Magazine reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the submission timeline.

 

 

 

 

Attending the Hustle Awards 2025

 

 

i. By booking a ticket, you consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed at the event as a member of the audience and to footage and photographs of you being used by Startups Magazine in any medium for the promotion and marketing of Startups Magazine.

 

You have the right to request to see a copy of the information we hold about you and to request corrections or deletions of the information that is no longer required. You can contact Startups Magazine to stop using your images at any time, ([email protected]) in which case it will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation.

 

ii. Views expressed by speakers at the event may not be the views of Startups Magazine. Event materials are provided on an “as is” basis and Startups Magazine makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of those materials.

 

iii. Speakers and attendees are subject to change and we do not guarantee that any specific speakers or participants will appear at the event. However, we will always try to find a suitable replacement if one of our key speakers or participants is unable to attend.

iv. You attend the event at your own risk. You are responsible for safeguarding your property when attending the event. Startups Magazine will have no liability for property lost, stolen or damaged at the event.

 

v. All tickets are non-refundable.
